It's been a source of fascination for viewers and scholars, whose discussions range from the film's just-war doctrine to its environmental ethics. But it's the Tantric dimension of the film that I want to talk about.

The Na'vi people are a mythological race of blue humanoids from the fictional planet Pandora, which they inhabit using their avatars - which are essentially sophisticated virtual-reality embodiments of their physical bodies. In the movie, we learn that the Na'vi people have normal genitals just like humans and are able to reproduce sexually. However, what is often overlooked is the sexy aspects of avatar sex.

There are many reasons why the sexy hair-sex scene in Avatar was removed from the theatrical release of the film, and a lot of fans have feared that there has been some sort of a Mandela Effect with the movie's rerelease. However, this is not the case, and there was a good reason for the removal of the scene.
